AHEPA is the largest and oldest Greek American organization with more than 500 chartered chapters across the United States, Canada, Greece, and Cyprus; and with sister chapters in Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 1922 to protect Greek-Americans from the evils of bigotry, its mission is to promote the ideals of Hellenism, philanthropy, education, civic responsibility, and family and individual excellence.
Acropolis Chapter 39 of Haverhill, MA has been around for a long time. The membership from the founders right up to the present members have worked very hard to maintain the efforts of AHEPA and keep the chapter's legacy alive.

We are a recognized 501 c 3 (10) charity and can accept donations. Our chapter will be celebrating 100 yrs this year. Since 2004 we have given out 80 scholarships that total over $71,700.00 as of 2023.

Starting on November 1, 2024 and up to March 1, 2025 is the filing period, for the AHEPA-Haverhill Foundation, Inc. grants, The foundation will be accepting letters sent through the US Postal Service only, a letter of request for a grant.
Any letter mailed prior to that date will not be considered.
Your 501 c(3) organization letter must be on a letterhead and include the EIN Tax Number also, contact information to include web site, email and telephone number.
Please note; if you received a grant for your organization the past two years, you can not submit a letter again this year, but must wait another year until November 1, 2025.
